Southpaw Extended 65% - Group Buy

This is the group buy for the Southpaw extended 65% keyboard. Open to orders until Friday December 1st 2017 unless noted. Estimated Production time of 6 to 9 weeks (Holidays included) with a week of shipping in between and a sorting and shipping time of 1 to 4 weeks. Orders may not be canceled after bulk order has been submitted to the vendor.

Cards will be charged as soon as the order is verified as ok. 

For this group buy, please place an order for items below only. Do not place items that are already in stock with items in the group buy. 

Add-on items and switches are for GB participants who have at least a single kit in their order. Orders with only add on items will be canceled. 

PCB supports both alps and MX switches, but plates are cut for their respective switches and are not compatible with both types.

Timeline

We will attempt to meet all the deadlines below. Note that production is happening over the holidays and will be longer than most group buys. These dates are on the conservative side so it may be possible that shipping starts before the stated date. 

• December 1st - Group buy closes. Orders will no longer be accepted
• January 29 to February 2 - Completing Production and shipping to the United States
• February 12th to March 3rd - Sorting and shipping. Orders will most likely finish fulfillment before March 3rd.  
• PCB production delay. Factory will be resuming production on March 1st. Fulfillment est. early/mid March 2018. Exact dates TBD

• March 2 - Restart of PCB assembly
• March 9 - Completion of PCB assembly
• March 16 - Completion of consolidation and bulk packing
• Late March (TBD) - Receive, sort and QC bulk shipment
• Late March / Early April (TBD) - Pack and ship to customers
• Mid / Late April (TBD) - Finish orders requiring assembly

Logistics and Shipping

Orders will be shipped out of Sunnyvale, California, USA and will use USPS First Class or Priority Mail, whichever is most cost effective. Both methods are tracked domestically. If you would like another shipping method to be used, please make a note in the order. Local pickup is also available. For orders in the EU, orders will be hosted through candykeys in Germany.

Preface and Terms

This is a group buy which brings new concepts and products to the community. Orders are taken beforehand and then submitted to the vendor as a whole, allowing the factories to do a single run of components, making the product available for purchase without any extreme upfront costs and stocking. 

The group buy will be run as close to schedule as possible, but delays are possible if any issues in production occur. Orders can be changed and canceled during the ordering period, but after the bulk order is submitted to the vendor, orders may not be changed or canceled. Understand that because of the nature of a group buy, there may be the unlikely chance of superficial changes to product specifications (i.e. screw color, SMD component spec, etc...) that will never hinder or affect functionality of the product in any way. By joining this group buy, you understand all stated above in the preface and terms.
